Our team will be carrying out research and development work alongside Conisbee, who are the structural engineers for restoration of the Keep at Norwich City Castle for the Norfolk Museums Service. Our team will literally be fusing the future with the past by bringing mixed reality holographic technology to what is a fantastic example of 12th century architecture. As well as the team at Consibee, we will be linking up with a local education partner who will be confirmed very soon!
The castle is a hugely significant piece of history not just within Norwich and the UK, but also across Europe. Once completed, the Keep will comprise 5 levels, and will provide visitors with an experience of what a real life palace might have looked like back in the day. The architects are Fielden and Mawson, and main contractor Morgan Sindall.
